100,000L Tank Donation – Hango Agricultural College in Tonga
In October 2014, to assist the Rotary Club of Cranbourne Victoria with a major water supply project at Hango Agricultural College in Tonga, Aquamate donated a 100,000 litre water tank.
This week we received an update from the Principal of the Hango Agricultural College.
“Tonga is currently experiencing El Nino affects which has left many people out of water and everything (pasture, plants) is suffering from drought. During this very dry season, most people on the island of ‘Eua and throughout the kingdom of Tonga are lacking in water. People are coming everyday with large containers, drums and buckets to collect water from Hango. Thank you for what you have done for Hango. It has also benefited the whole community on the island. Even the fire brigade are filling their trucks from Hango water. Warm Regards from Sione (the Principal) and all of Hango Community”
